Spider-Man: No Way Home Will Premiere December 2021
The third film in the series was teased yesterday by the three stars as ‘Home Slice,’ ‘Home-Wrecker’ and ‘Phone Home.’
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the official title of the latest Spider Man film, set to release in theaters this Christmas. The news was announced in a video follow-up to a series of posts by the film’s headliners, Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, in which they teased their takes on what the title might be. The three franchise stars took to Instagram to share movie stills that see Peter Parker (Holland), MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Batalon) researching in front of a computer and exploring what look like an old house and a creepy basement. They also took this opportunity to reveal their own takes on the Spider-Man 3 title, with Zendaya going for Home Slice, Batalon naming his Home-Wrecker and Holland taking cues from E.T. with Phone Home.
Spider-Man 3 will see Alfred Molina reprise his role from the Tobey Maguire-led franchise as Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus/Doc Ock, while Jamie Foxx will reprise his role from the Andrew Garfield-led franchise as Max Dillon/Electro. Despite the casting connection of the three franchises, however, Holland confirmed that Maguire and Garfield will most likely not appear in the upcoming film — unless Marvel hid the information from him.
Take a look at the video below and stay tuned for the official title and trailer. Spider-Man 3 is set to premiere December 17, 2021.
