First Teaser for the Kingsman Origin Film
Going back to where it all started.
After sharing its official release date back in June, 20th Century Fox has now released the first teaser trailer for The King’s Man.
The third installment to the lauded Kingsman franchise, the The King’s Man, will act as a prequel to the series and shine a light on the origins of the super spies. The film will take place in the early 1900s and center around the events that led up to the creation of the Kingsman organization.
Ralph Fiennes joins the cast as T.E. Lawrence, Liam Neeson plays Herbert Kitchener, Daniel Bruhl as Gelix Yusupov, and Gemma Arterton joins as Mata Hari, and Rhys Ifans plays the infamous Grigori Rasputin. Harris Dickinson also rounds out the cast and Matthew Vaughn returns for directing duties.
The film’s official synopsis reads, “As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man…”
The King’s Man hits theaters February 14, 2020.
The first two films, Kingsman: The Secret Service racked in $414 million USD and Kingsman: The Golden Circle took in $410 million USD around the world, respectively.
