'Akira 28' Pays Tribute to the Anime's Iconic Motorcycle

A tribute trailer has been created by Brad Kremer that will leave fans wanting for more. The video above primarily focuses on the Akira bike, which still remains as an iconic symbol similar to Star Wars‘ Millennium Falcon or Back to the Future‘s DeLorean. TheCGI’d re-look at the classic 1988 anime includes design-updates, such as giving Kaneda an awesome skull-motif helmet. Kremer states the trailer took countless days and sleepless nights filled with re-edits and re-renders to complete.
