The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B has finally released

Prices start at $35 USD.

The Raspberry Pi 4 Model B has finally released and comes with a host of new upgrades that pair its single-board computing powers with new levels of performance capabilities.

A new 1.5GHz quad-core Broadcom processor with H.265 decoding and up to 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM comes as standard for the $55 USD mini-computer, which is enough power to provide dual-monitor support at up to 4K video at 60 frames per second. There are also two other options packing 1GB and 2GB of RAM for $35 USD and $45 USD respectively.

Other upgrades to the Rasberry Pi 4 include Bluetooth 5.0, two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, VideoCore VI graphics — which are capable of supporting OpenGL ES 3.x — and a radically overhauled operating system dubbed “Raspbian Buster.”

All three variants of the Raspberry Pi 4 are available to purchase now at the UK-based company’s Cambridge store, or via Raspberry Pi stockist online. You can also purchase a complete desktop package for $120 USD which features the 4GB version, a keyboard, mouse and much more as standard.
